Description of Practice

I Have almost 50 years of experience in a variety of civil litigation. My work has included personal injury and wrongful death cases, product liability cases, maritime cases of all types, FELA railroad injury, Longshore and Defense Base compensation cases. I have represented plaintiffs and defendants in real estate disputes. I have also tried a substantial arbitration vessel construction case. Much of that experience has involved complex and multi-party cases. I think my skills should be helpful in resolving any type of litigation. I have completed the basic 20-hour mediation course, and also two advanced courses. I am also qualified as an arbitrator. I have participated in more than 50 mediations while representing parties, with a high success rate. You can assure opposing counsel that I understand the mediation process and that I will be a Neutral and would be impartial to all parties. I am certainly happy to travel to work as a mediator or arbitrator, particularly within driving distance from my office. Please call or e-mail me if you would like any more information.
