From a process standpoint, he will get all issues on the table, and then will subdivide big problems into smaller, easier-to-solve ones. Brian's engineering background is well balanced by his empathy and people skills, so results and feelings are both considered.
- Family and/or divorce: $175 per hour.
- Business disputes and/or partnership dissolution: $200 per hour.
- Small Claims: Neighborhood, person-to-person, landlord-tenant, and other cases that might otherwise be taken to Small Claims Court: $75 for up to two hours, $50 per hour thereafter. (Less expensive than court.)
- Facilitation: $175 per hour.
Facilitation: As a trained and experienced facilitator, Brian can help you plan and accomplish your event's or meeting's objectives. He is skilled at leading brainstorming, idea generation, and teambuilding during strategic planning and organization-change efforts. Brian holds a Certified Professional FacilitatorTM (CPF) credential from the International Association of Facilitators.
Training: Brian teaches a variety of classes on people-related workplace topics, including Managing Conflicts in Meetings (2 days), Project Management (5 days), and Management and Supervision (4 days).
Foreclosure Mediation:Brian facilitates foreclosure cases through the Oregon Foreclosure Avoidance Program.
Arbitration: Brian is a securities arbitrator with FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority). He can arbitrate other cases — rather than mediate them — with prior, fully informed agreement of the parties.
